**Electromechanical Buyer**:
This role requires a significant amount of technical knowledge and experience relative to purchasing strategies and negotiation capability in order to ensure that project or company’s objectives are achieved (time to market, time to volume, initial samples on time, right first time).
**Responsibilities**:
Scouting, searching and contacting suppliers on domestic and foreign markets;
Promote cost reduction initiatives;
Meets with suppliers to discuss contracts, negotiate prices, lead-time, non-quality costs, open order status, etc;
Manage the assigned commodity and define the strategy in line with company’s target.
Qualifications and Experience Levels
Ability to understand technical drawings and participate into technical discussion to support Design for Manufacturing
Understanding of mechanical technology, manufacturing methods and total quality processes
Expertise in the purchase of electromechanical parts and components;
Familiar with rapid prototyping techniques;
Fluent English, buyer must be able to communicate and negotiate in English.

Supplier oriented approach and ability to develop strong network and to manage and prioritize multiple demands;
Able to work under pressure; effective communication and presentation skills;
Able to negotiate and handle conflicts (negotiation & conflict management - Communication).
