**The team you will be a part of**:
The Technician team provides in-home service on full line of Whirlpools products ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and brand loyalty while providing instruction to customers on proper use and care of product.

**This role in summary**:
As the Hardware V&V, you will be responsible for the development testing plan on different range of appliance products from multiple hardware performance perspectives. You will have a good conceptual understanding of embedded hardware design and troubleshooting.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Complete the UL / IEC Electronics Module Certification reports
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of IEC/UL-60730-1, IEC-60335-1, and relevant IEC standards
- Understands how to interpret compliance standards and define actions needed to meet the standard
- Good project management and communication skills
- Test appliance controls and HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces) and other products for different aspects prototype evaluation, engineering development, etc
- Plan and execute Environmental, Hardware relevant standard’s requirements, product or control FMEA (Failure modes Effects and Analysis) and DVP&R (Design Verification Plan & Actions)
- Write Test Reports and participate in Schematic, Layout, DVP&R, FMEA and Test Plan reviews.
- Proficiency in automating testing with the help of leading test platforms like PLC (programmable Logic Controllers) programming, Arduino, etc, would be an added advantage.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Batchelors’ degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Master degree preferred)
- 3+ Years of experience with electrical or electronics

**Preferred skills and experiences**:

- Preferred 1-3 years of experience with Electrical or Electronics certification laboratories.
- Experience with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, Network Analyzers/ Spectrum Analyzers, High Frequency Testing, Still Hands on Individual Contributions.
- Experience on UL/IEC 60730-1, IEC 60335-1, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO9001 standards.
- Hands-on skills required with Hardware development testing such as soldering, desoldering, troubleshooting.
