**Position**: Boat Captain (Short-Term Collaboration)

**Location**: Italy, Massa Lubrense

**Duration**: 5 days (collaboration period)

**Summary**: We are seeking an experienced and licensed Boat Captain to join us for a short-term collaboration in Italy. As a Boat Captain, you will be responsible for operating and navigating the vessel during this five-day period. Your primary focus will be to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all passengers on board while complying with Italian maritime regulations and best practices.

**Responsibilities**:
Boat Operations: Safely operate and navigate the boat, ensuring smooth and efficient operation throughout the collaboration period. Demonstrate proficiency in handling the vessel in various weather and sea conditions.

Safety and Security: Prioritize the safety and security of all individuals on board. Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct safety briefings, and ensure the proper use of safety equipment.

Navigation: Utilize navigational tools and charts to plan routes and efficiently navigate through Italian waterways. Make necessary route adjustments based on weather conditions and other factors.

Compliance: Stay informed about and adhere to Italian maritime regulations, laws, and safety standards during the collaboration period.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout the journey. Be attentive to their needs and respond promptly to any inquiries.

Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the passengers and any other relevant parties during the collaboration. Handle any potential issues or emergencies calmly and professionally.

Boat Maintenance: Conduct pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the boat is in excellent working condition. Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel and ensure timely resolution.

Environmental Responsibility: Promote environmentally responsible practices during the collaboration, including proper waste disposal and adherence to pollution prevention guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Valid and appropriate captain's license or certification (e.g., Italian Boat Captain License).
- Proven experience as a Boat Captain, demonstrating competence in operating boats of various sizes and types.
- Excellent navigational and seamanship skills, with a sound understanding of Italian waterways and coastal areas.
- In-depth knowledge of Italian maritime regulations and safety procedures.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to remain composed and make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Physical fitness and agility to perform duties on the boat.
- Customer-oriented mindset with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and/or Italian (additional languages are a plus).
