The EHS manager called "RSPP" by Italian health and safety regulation. It is by regulations a mandatory position in a production plant such as Vishay Semiconductor Italiana. Its primary responsibility is to ensure that all activities in your plant comply with applicable HS regulations at all times. This implies that all activities are analysed and a risk assessment document is generated following recognised methods and standards (DVRs). Any changes in the site must be evaluated and the DVR updated accordingly.
The RSPP is responsible for highlighting and notifying the management of any risks in terms of HS and ensuring that the necessary actions are taken in a timely manner.
The same level of responsibility is linked to environmental risks. These responsibilities involve a thorough knowledge of the plant processes as well as knowledge of applicable regulations, best practices and standards.
