**Health, Safety and Environment Specialist**:

Within ABB, the eMobility product group lays the foundation for the future of smarter, reliable and emission-free mobility that is accessible everywhere and for everyone. ABB offers a total solution from compact, high-quality AC wallboxes, reliable DC fast charging stations with robust connectivity to innovative on-demand electric bus charging systems. We deploy infrastructure that meets the needs of the next generation of smarter mobility. In the position of HSE - Specialist you are looking for continuous improvements in the field of safety, health and the environment in order to raise the HSE culture to an even higher level. Thanks to your extensive knowledge, you are well able to generate pragmatic solutions and to advise colleagues well. You report to the Local HSE Manager/RSPP.

**This position reports to**:
HSE Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- You are assigned to the prevention and protection service (ASPP) as required by Legislative Decree 81/08 for Valdarno plant
- You participate in the planning and management of all safety requirements in the workplace
- You are responsible for managing procurement contract management obligations
- You are responsible for verifying contractor and self-employed entry requirements and related permits
- You collaborate with the heads of all operational areas for the management of HSE aspects
- You facilitate HSE risks assessment by line management, and ensures all processes are implemented
- You manage the HSE Management system ISO 45001
- You create awareness in the HSE field among colleagues by giving, among other things, toolboxes
- You conduct HSE training activities
- You elaborate/collaborate in the elaboration of procedures and instructions with reference to HSE aspects
- You assist line managers and supervisors in understanding obligations, liability and how to fulfil their roles, according to local HSE law and ABB E- Mobility policy, instructions and standards
- You report HSE incidents. Feeds back on lessons learned and best practice from own unit and across ABB to management and employees

**Your background**:

- 3-5 years of experience in the HSE field
- Knowledge and experience to work within interdisciplinary teams that guarantee HSE aspects
- Knowledge and experience in Italian Law & Regulations
- Knowledge and experience in ISO management systems
- In addition, you have:

- A good solution-oriented approach with strong written and oral communication skills in both Italian and English
- Master's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or related discipline is required
- A safety education (at least ASPP training) is an advantage
- You have experience with management systems
- Driver's license B
- Good digital skills (including MS Office)
