Who we are looking for

Purpose

Under the supervision of the IT Network and Data Center Area, Technical Systems and Support, the resource will be able to develop and manage all the projects of network security (network segmentation, network segregation, network access control) and coordinate internal and external resources. The Network Security Expert will manage corporate firewalls and develop and supervise network operation and new implementation projects.

Main Responsibilities

**The Network Security Expert will**:

- Manage technical aspects in network segmentation and segregation projects;
- Manage technical aspects in NAC implementation;
- Participate in design, installation and testing activities of new networking devices;
- Coordinate external suppliers and consultants for support operation and new implementations;
- Manage and field supervise the IT aspects of Chiesi's construction sites, which include structured cabling;
- Collaborate with colleagues in technical area to implement and maintain IT infrastructure;
- Manage corporate firewalls and coordinate affiliates with processes and best practice for firewall and network security rules;
- Develop and coordinate Project Management.

Experience Required

At least 5 years of experience in IT Networking and/or Network Security Operations.

Education

Degree in Computer Networking. Any Technical Degree will be considered as a plus.

Languages

Fluent in both written and spoken English, especially technical language vocabulary.

Technical Skills
- Deep knowledge of network fundamentals (routing, switching, wireless) and related most common protocols;
- Advanced knowledge of network security, firewalls technologies and VPN Site-to-Site;
- Advanced knowledge of most common NAC technologies;
- Advanced knowledge of network design processes, to include understanding of security objectives, operational objectives, and trade-offs;
- Ability to configure and maintain Fortinet and Check Point firewalls and their management consoles;
- Ability to manage LAN/WAN/Wireless network devices. This includes the design, installation, upgrade, configuration, and troubleshooting of networks. Great experience with devices from these vendors is required: Cisco (including Cisco DNA), HP Procurve/Aruba and Juniper;
- Ability to configure and maintain datacenter monitoring system based on Schneider/APC devices;
- Knowledge of best practices in cabling technologies;
- Knowledge of monitor systems and IPAM;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Project Management tools.
