In Italy, we have 9 service locations throughout the whole country. Our over 70 employees perform maintenance, commissioning and warranty work for our customers.

This position will suit a Finance Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment;
The role will be based in our head office in Marghera (Venezia), however it will also require travel between other Stadler Italy sites and wider Stadler Group locations

YOUR TASKS
- Support Country manager in defining strategy and targets at business unit level
- In charge of the statutory accounts for Stadler Service Italy s.r.l. and any subsidiary companies as required.
- Lead and be responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting in compliance with Italian and Swiss GAAP / company reporting guidelines to the Italian Leadership team and into the Division for consolidation purposes.
- Develop and maintain forecasting systems and models, particularly around our long-term contracts. Challenge assumptions with appropriate individuals to ensure that information presented is robust and accurate and owned by those individuals.
- Work with colleagues to develop common reporting templates across the business.
- Facilitate cost control, corrective action and accurate apportionment of cost through the development of our systems and processes.
- Maintain technical proficiency by reviewing changes to relevant accounting standards, exposure drafts and other reporting requirements.
- Manage the relationships with a range of important external stakeholders including our auditors, bankers, insurers and pensions advisors.
- Lead, manage and continually develop the Finance team, supporting the Country Manager to ensure every opportunity is taken to develop and enhance the provision of an expert service to the organisation
- Prepare and present training on technical updates and key topics of accounting interest to the finance team and wider stakeholders.
- Develop effective relationships with the Italian Leadership Team, and finance colleagues throughout the Division/Group.

YOUR PROFILE
- Qualified Accountant or equivalent with demonstrable post qualification experience.
- Expertise IFRS and Italian GAAP
- Ability to prioritise a demanding workload and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to challenge.
- Recent experience of complex financial modelling analysis.
- Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent English in written and spoken (C1)
