Job Scope
YOUR MISSION

The Corporate Market Access Specialist, will report to the Corporate VP Market Access and will be responsible for:

- Contributing to Market Access activities grow and accelerate market access for DiaSorin products
- Providing evidence of positive impact of the use of DS products on patients and hospitals, through as well delivery of health economic modelling
- Performing health care policy studies in response to, or, in anticipation of significant issues emerging around the world that affect health care delivery.
- Managing Outcome and Health Economics discussion and relationship with Subject Matter Experts
- Supporting line manager developing a thorough roadmap for cross-functional Value Base Care initiatives’ roll out

Main Responsibilities
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
- Implement Corporate Market Access activities in the Value Based Care space to maximize growth for DiaSorin’s product and for establishing full value recognition (including, among others, evidence generation activities, payers and stakeholders engagement, maximization of reimbursement targets).
- Design, conduct, analyze and report economic research studies including cost-effectiveness, cost/benefit, and cost utility as well as an assessment of quality-of-life outcomes to influence therapeutic decision making to accelerate implementation of DS products. By doing so, build Health Economics & Reimbursement modelling and support geographies to populate the models with local data.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to DiaSorin’s diagnostic products and commercial strategy that include close collaboration with clinical, medical affairs and R&D.
- Implement tactical planning activities required to achieve Market Access - health economics and outcomes research strategic objectives (e.g., prepare literature reviews, systematic reviews, value dossiers, Health Technology Assessment submissions; contribute to the design and evaluation of clinical research studies; help select appropriate quality of life instruments; help select productivity loss measures and other patient data collection tools for input into clinical trials, etc.).
- Support as appropriate in new product development teams to ensure health economics and outcomes research needs are incorporated into product development plans and timelines; ensure all necessary new product development deliverables are completed on time.
- Assist with the development and communication of study/research results through conference abstracts/presentations and peer-reviewed published manuscripts.
- Assist with the preparation of clinical and economic dossiers for submission to health authorities, technology assessment boards, and payers.
- Support internal education and training initiatives, especially for Sales and Marketing.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
Experience
- Degree from an accredited college in economics, statistics, biostatistics, or related disciplines
- Coursework or degree in health economics, public health, health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics, health care administration or related discipline highly desirable

**Skills**:

Master’s degree is a plus.

**Experience**:
Personal Strengths
- 1-2 years in health care, preferably with experience working with new medical technologies in the diagnostics, medical device or pharmaceutical arena.

**Technical competencies**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of some healthcare systems including health care financing and technology assessment
- Basic Knowledge of economic modelling techniques
- Project management - working knowledge

**Training required**:
May require ad-hoc Health Economic modelling and Reimbursement training, if not already present in the technical competencies.
