**Role Description**
He/She will be in charge of drafting schemes, drawings, plans and layouts of equipment. He will be in charge of creation, integration and optimization of mechanical 3D CAD models for the design and construction phases of small modular nuclear reactors (SMR) and BIM 3D CAD models for systems and services of the infrastructure of a nuclear power system.

**Main Activities**
- Drafting P&IDs, PFDs, equipment layouts and piping assembling diagrams, single line and wiring diagrams, interconnecting diagrams, steel structures and piping support, civil drawings.
- Make preliminary or detailed technical design studies using a 3D computer-aided design (CAD) system.
- Create and manage the evolution of the 3D model of all the components of a nuclear reactor
- Create and manage the evolution of the 3D model of all the systems (piping, heat exchangers, cable trays, pumps, turbines, buildings etc.) of a nuclear power station.
- Have daily contacts with the design engineers to support the design of the components and systems design.
- Exchange the 3D models in formats to be shared with the main structural and fluid dynamics simulation software.
- Prepare isometrics, prefabrication drawings and prepare bill of materials.
- Contribute in preparing technical specifications, and call-for-tender documents

**Desired Qualifications**

**Education**:

- Higher technical diploma in the field of mechanics or electromechanics or a related field
- BSc degree is an asset

Languages:

- Fluent Italian and English

Experience / Professional requirements:

- Experience in the use of CAD tools.
- 3-5 years of drafting P&IDS, PFDs, plant layouts, piping assemblies and similar drawings.
- 3-5 years of experience in the creation, and management of complex 3D CAD models for mechanical assembly.
- 3-5 years of experience in the creation, and management of complex 3D CAD models for process systems.
- Demonstrated competence in use of Document Management tools.
- Basic awareness of industry or regulatory standards and design criteria pertinent to the engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of engineering cycle for development of feasibility, basic design, FEED, detailed engineering, commissioning and start-up
