**Overview**:
**About the role**
This position, reporting to the Associate Manager, Primary Freight CIS, MENAPT & SSA, will be accountable for the day-to-day management of primary freight operations and transport analytics to drive end-to-end Transportation cost and performance improvements across the region. The role focus is split between operations and performance management to enable both sales freight and On Time Delivery service KPI improvements.
**About the Team/Department**
The role works cross-functionally with the different Supply Chain Teams, LEAN, Logistics Operations, Supply Planning, Customer Fulfillment, and external Control Towers. The role is assisted by the Global Trade Compliance team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Deliver Service KPIs OTP & OTD targets across MENAPT & SSA
- Ensure import & export operations in MENAPT & SSA are in compliance with SCJ and local country customs legislation and regulations.
- Deliver Primary Freight budget and cost savings targets
- Become a LEAN Champion, foster LEAN methodology and culture within Supply Chain
**Experience you’ll bring**:
- Bachelor's University degree in Logistics, Economics, or Industrial Management Engineering
- Relevant experience in Transport operations (1 to 3 years)
- Significant experience with Lean practices.

- Fluent in speaking, writing, and reading English and Italian
