The Role

Kyndryl IT Strategy & Integration mission is to accelerate the digital transformation and IT modernization agenda of global enterprises and government agencies with a specific focus on designing modern infrastructure and operating model to enable the transformation and leverage cloud as a new delivery and service model.

Our consultants and architects assist clients to determine their business issues and recommend solutions to drive business value. They use in-depth consulting skills, technology knowledge, industry frameworks and best practices to assess client status and needs and help them in defining the proper technology strategy to support their digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis of client current state, define key outcomes, define/revise IT strategy, design conceptual solutions, plan and execute design and implementation work (with support from technical specialists), while accounting for time, cost and quality targets- Structure, lead and facilitate various design meetings and workshops, be the face of Kyndryl to client leadership, discuss common architecture patterns and reference models, coordinate to ensure the right technical skills are on the team- Support sales and go to market organization with activities ranging from initial client exploratory meeting, gathering requirements, structuring solution bid, and ramping up the team for execution

Who You Are

Specific Professional skills:
- 5+ years performing IT consulting engagements.-
- Ability to relate business goals to software architecture to required infrastructure platform and services.-
- Understanding of the major architecture frameworks for on-prem and cloud delivery models. Solid understanding of serverless, decoupled architecture, twelve factor apps concepts and their applicability to app modernization- Experience in driving DevOps adoption in enterprise including tools, process and culture transformationGeneral Professional skills:
- Environment: Professional knowledge of function, business unit or country operations. Understand organizational resources, priorities, needs and policies.- Communication/Negotiation: Guide other professionals. Adapt communications and approaches to conclude negotiations with various partners, resulting in common agreements.- Problem Solving: Analyze complex/new situations, anticipate potential problems and future trends, assess opportunities, impacts, and risks. Develop and implement solutions.- Contribution/Leadership: Leads multi-functional teams, or conducts special projects, or manages department(s) (national or international). Has vision of functional or unit mission. Influences people and organizations, including executive management, when issues are complex/difficult and require considerable diplomacy. Considerable latitude in responsibilities to define and decide on tools, processes, priorities and resources following general business unit directives. Recognized as an expert in their field.
