**Your role**:
The Cash officer / Order-to-cash controller is a key player within the Capgemini Engineering Italy Finance team and will work across the board with the Market Unit controllers, Operations teams, Delivery teams, Billing and Credit department. This role reports to the CFO of Capgemini Engineering Italy.
- You will:
- Provide reliable, timely and accurate financial planning (budgeting, monthly forecasting, and actuals follow-up) and reporting to Group and local management regarding the cash performance / order-to-cash process.
- Drive improvements in the credit and collection process, aligning to group standards.
- Partner with Sales / Delivery / Operations to fix root causes of delayed billing and delayed collection.
- Implement cash reporting and follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare business analyses and performance measurement, leveraging on operational KPI.
- Optimize overall cash-collection and manage DSO forecasting in close cooperation with business stakeholders.
**Your profile**:
- Experience with O2C (order-to-cash) management and reporting.
- Proven track record in stakeholder management at various organizational layers.
- Strong working knowledge of the MS Office Suite, at ease with large datasets and financial modeling. Knowledge of PowerBI is considered a pre.
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Strong presence with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Able to influence relevant stakeholders, help people to adapt and improve. At ease managing processes from a distance, being it for local resources working remotely or for offshore teams.
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask with strong analytical and problem-solving attitude.
