Joan's British Centre is a language school located in Verbania, a beautiful area in the North of Italy, on the shores of Lake Maggiore. The school is looking for a passionate language tutor to join its staff.

This position is open for a native-level/mother tongue speaker who is willing to commit to a summer period in Italy, with the possibility of obtaining a permanent position for the next academic year 2023/24.

**Requirements**:

- EU resident, eligible to work in Italy
- University/College Degree
- Driving license
- Fun, enthusiastic, creative, hardworking and high energy person
- Genuine interested in working with children
- Willing to learn new teaching methods
- Open-minded, with an interest in learning about other cultures and societies
- Friendly and able to work as part of a team

Preferred, but not essential:

- Skills in music and/or drama
- Ability to facilitate a variety of group programmes including sports, arts and crafts, theatre, games, etc.
- Italian language speaker

It's a paid position which includes training, all meals and accommodation.

It will also be an opportunity to consider a permanent full time teaching position for the following academic year from September 2023 to June 2024 at Joan's British Centre in Verbania.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Internship, Contract
Contract length: 10 months
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: €800.00 - €1,400.00 per month
