**Role Mission**

Joining the team on a **Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover)** **contract for 6 months you will be responsible for supporting the Finance Team in financial accounting, financial reporting, forecasting and commercial reporting matters for the Group. The Group finance team are responsible for all financial accounting, statutory reporting and commercial reporting information for the group inclusive of but not limited to:

- The preparation and provision of accurate, relevant, and timely management information.
- Ensuring deadlines are met for all accounting requirements of the Group.
- Ensuring that financial controls are in place for the Group.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead accountant our Italy and Spain corporate entities
- Produce accurate and timely monthly financial information ensuring consistency of financial reporting, providing detailed supporting schedules.
- Preparation of Monthly Revenue / PoC calculations.
- Preparation of payroll (Italy and Spain)
- Reconciliation of payroll (Italy and Spain)
- Review and approval of bank & intercompany reconciliations each month.
- Self invoices preparation and sending through Aruba
- Preparation of weekly & monthly cashflow forecasts
- Assist in the preparation of monthly commercial finance reports.
- Preparation and posting of monthly journals recurring journal such as accruals, prepayments etc
- Preparation on VAT & other Revenue processes
- Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
- Support the CFO in producing consolidated annual budgets for the Group.
- Ensure accuracy of Creditor’s ledger.
- Collection of receipts + preparation of expense reports for CEO
- Support the CFO in the annual external audits and liaising with local accounting providers

**Required Skills**:

- ACA or ACCA Qualified accountant, with 2+ years’ experience post qualification
- Strong financial reporting experience. For example, experience in the preparation or auditing of financial statements
- Commercially astute with strong analytical skillset with ability to draw meaningful information from the data
- Experience with Revenue accounting in Processional Services/ PoC calculations
- Experience performing audits or preparing for and dealing with audit queries.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to develop working relationships with both the finance and commercial teams
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel.
- Big 4 / Top 10 experience an advantage, but not essential
