In order to strengthen our engineering team we are looking to hire a **Prototype Material Planner**, based in Maranello (Italy).

In this position, you will be part of the Prototype Materials Team that oversees and manages supply chain procurement, delivery planning, transport management and internal material handling activities.

As part of the team, you will responsible of:

- Support to the RPA of R&D in the drafting of the set-ups/basic bills of prototypes.
- Management of the car set-ups within the company ERP, costing of the set-ups/bills of materials and issuing of orders in accordance with lead time procurement.
- Support to Product Development Teams in the definition of purchase logic (e.g. sales account, work account, etc.).
- Cost analysis of prototype components and prototype cars, planning budget control.
- Issue orders and supply chain management until the final delivery of the components. Drafting and sharing delivery plans with prototype suppliers, with the aim of respecting the project milestones.
- Management of critical issues related to the prototype Supply Chain, with the aim of ensuring production continuity.
- Management of the material handling activities of the prototype components towards the different production plants.
- Support to Product Development Teams in the management of production milestones for prototype cars.
- Monitoring of department KPIs and logistics operator to meet the required level of service in procurement flows.

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master-degree in Mechanical or Management Engineering or equivalent. And you will have gained at least 2 years’ dedicated experience on material handling activities or supply chain management.
Excellent knowledge of the MS Office package, MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and LCM (Life Cycle Management) systems is required for the role.

In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, strong communication skills and accountability are important skillset to manage activities and responsibility of the role. It is important to be proactive proposing new solutions to optimize all the processes and activities. Matlab/Simulink programming knowledge are mandatory to manage the activities.

Fluent English is required for the position and Italian language skills are an advantage. We appreciate individuals with experience outside their country of origin, allowing for a multicultural mindset.
