**Pininfarina SPA** is currently seeking for an energetic and highly-skilled
**Sales & Business Development Manager** with at least 10 years of relevant work experience in a commercial area of high value-added services, preferably design, strategic consulting, or marketing.

The Sales & Business Development Manager shall report to the Senior Vice President - Center of Competence Product & Experience Design. Such Center of Competence focuses on delivering end to end services and solutions to its Clients, encompassing strategic design, interaction design, product design as well as physical and digital prototyping.

This position is for work in our Cambiano Office (TURIN- ITALY) for immediate employment in a hands-on and collaborative work environment.

Business Area: Design Services - Product & Experience Design

**Key responsibilities**:

- Create the new business pipeline and manage the new business development, providing accurate and timely reporting of all new project opportunities to the SVP
- Build and manage commercial relationships with both existing and prospective Clients across the full range of services. Quality-lead generation and new business development attitude.
- Foster relationships with executive decision makers to achieve account revenue goals
- Help Clients facing the emerging challenges in competitive and evolving markets
- Draft detailed commercial offers and agreements
- Negotiate and close the terms of the agreements
- Achieve annual revenue goals and new client acquisition targets
- Liaise with the Design Team to develop comprehensive commercial offers and to identify the best business strategy applied to the Clients’ needs
- Market analysis, competitor’s analysis and benchmarking leading to the identification of new business opportunities
- Working closely with the internal Marketing/Communication Team to support the definition of compelling communication strategies (design awards, events, tradeshows, product launches) and related marketing materials

**Job requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent field of study
- At least 10 years of work experience in a commercial area in high value-added services, preferably design (including strategic & experience design), strategic consulting, or marketing
- Ability to generate leads and to identify new client opportunities
- Experience in planning and implementing long terms sales strategy
- Technical sales and presentation skills
- Marketing skills - commercial skills - financial skill
- Brilliant personality with strong communication, customer relationship and networking skills
- Excellent organizational skills and methodical personality
- Result-oriented. Problem analysis and problem-solving
- Excellent team work attitude
- Passion for and familiarity with user experience, innovation, design, strategic thinking, new technologies and new media
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. A second foreign language is considered a plus
- Must be willing to travel, including international trips

- Sales experience dealing with strategic design, product design & development
- Marketing and Brand understanding and experience
