**Job Description**:
The Client Engagement function is at the core of how Gucci connects with customers to foster long-standing relationships while building communities. This requires a “left and right brain” approach combining a strategic outlook with best-in-class surprise and delight initiatives. With this in mind, we are looking to reframe the current organizational structure, creating a new leadership role linking creative development with strategy and implementation.

The Role:
The Head of Client Development (HOCD) will encompass one of the most critical roles in the Client Engagement team, with a focus on the strategic implementation of clienteling activities across channels. Having a channel agnostic view is critical to ensure that the client experience is seamless wherever a customer might engage or transact with Gucci.

The scope of the role will now also encompass the responsibilities the development or surprise and delight toolkits for client events and gifting. The role will be a key interface with regional counterparts for crafting strategy, following executing, and monitoring results.

The role will report into the Global Director of Client Engagement, and will cover a team managing all client engagement touchpoints in a channel agnostic way, covering client development strategies, leveraging clienteling tools and creating toolkits for retail activations.

Key Activities:

- Monitoring the health of all client segments in order to support the development and execution of regional-specific strategies to drive retention and acquisition.
- Development of the core clienteling toolkits including event concepts, gifting and experiences to surprise and delight.
- Carefully curate the Gucci customer experience and journey through cross-functional engagement and participation in the “benefits and services” workstream.
- Oversee clietneling training including the development of materials / modules and the regional cascading in collaboration with the training department. This will also require project management across the Client Engagement functions to ensure that all areas are appropriately curated and prioritized in training materials.
- Collaborate with the Consumer Campaign team, with a specific focus on Consumer Journeys that can activate our Client Advisors for engagement and retention efforts.
- Develop and manage Market strategy for driving and reinventing in-store moments rooted in exceptional client experience with an emphasis on personalization
- Develop new, unexpected and disruptive opportunities to drive retail priorities while supporting all product launches to maximize future ROI
- An important point person for both regions and cross-functional counterparts; the HOCD has continuous interaction with the rest of the Client Engagement corporate and regional teams, as well as with Communication, Creative and channel-specific functions.
