**Operations - **Manufacturing Supervisor, Permanent contract**

For the Italian production plant of Janssen (Borgo San Michele-Latina) we are looking for a **MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR **to be hired in OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT.

The person will be part of the manufacturing area and will report to the Operations Manager.

**Main responsibility**:
The **MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR **is in charge to:

- Guarantee, as Process execution owner, Compliance, adherence to rules and procedures of the assigned process.
- Ensure and contribute to the definition and implementation of procedures and monthly / annual / daily work programs, in compliance with company procedures and operational and budget standards, optimizing available resources.
- ensure, in coordination with the MPS (Manufacturing Process Specialist), direct supervision of operators, the performance of their area of competence through the management of shifts, leave permits thus ensuring the work in the quantities, costs and times established by the operating standards.
- Ensure constant control of their area of expertise by highlighting any malfunctions, proposing and implementing suitable corrective measures, interacting with the other company functions in order to continuously reach and improve the qualitative and quantitative objectives.
- Respect the priorities defined for the validation of new production processes, giving their contribution in verifying the related protocols and action plans and participating at the start of the new production lines.
- Ensure continuous alignment with the maintenance unit by managing with priority the requests for technical intervention on the lines.
- **Quality & Compliance**
- Sensitize employees to compliance and GMP regulations by guaranteeing a complete implementation of the same.
- To guarantee the updating of one's own and all technical and general knowledge people in their area of responsibility through timely and continuous technical training.
- **EHS**
- Check that staff behave safely, that conditions the working environment, machinery and systems are healthy and safe, informing promptly their supervisor of any anomalies and in case of serious danger imminent by stopping individual and / or collective activities.
- Check that the procedures and internal rules on the Environment, Safety and Occupational hygiene are known, applied and respected by the staff.
- Ensure that staff carry out health surveillance and training required by the job.
- **IT & Automation Systems**
- Ensure the correct use of the tools through adequate control IT tools necessary for carrying out work activities
- Comply with Johnson's Worldwide Information Asset Protection Policy & Johnson.
- **Finance / PE**
- Raise employees' awareness on costs, optimization and continuous improvement of processes.
- **HR**
- Help to ensuring the achievement of company and departmental objectives.
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of its collaborators by contributing to related professional development also through participation in corporate projects.
- Contribute to improving the quality of the working environment by promoting and encouraging actions consistent with the corporate Credo.

**Qualifications**:
**Requirements/Skills and Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in CTF, Chemistry, Pharmacy or Engineering
- At least 5 years of working experience in pharmaceutical environment, operations is a plus
- Able to work in a multidepartment and dynamic environment and to deal urgencies on the shop floor
- Strong skills of leadership, ownership and accountability
- skilled in problem-solving and decision making
- Capability to easily connect with people
- Fluent in English
