Within the Electronics Business Area we are looking for a Program Manager for our Rome Tiburtina office. The person we select will be responsible for managing projects within the Army Solution Programs Business Unit and will operate within the IPT (Integrated Project Team) project team with the aim of ensuring the achievement of program objectives, in terms of time, costs, quality and customer satisfaction, in full compliance with contractual requirements. The person will be responsible for the following activities:
- Management of medium-complexity programs, both nationally and internationally.
- Operating autonomously to ensure the achievement of project objectives, not only from an economic-financial point of view, but also ensuring compliance with contractual agreements with the Customer (external/internal).
- Coordination and management of progress meetings, performance measurement and planning/organization of testing/delivery activities with the Customer.
- Actively supporting the "business winning" phases and ensuring the monitoring and progress of projects in the "business execution" phases, interfacing with the various stakeholders of other company functions and agreeing with the line manager any corrective actions, in order to ensure the success of the project and customer satisfaction.
- Management of contractual compliance in accordance with company procedures and national laws with particular regard to the aspects: Legal, Security, Trade compliance, Health & Safety, Purchasing Process and reporting.
- Risk Management.
- Participation in bid teams for the preparation of main commercial offers.
- Coordination regarding the definition and collection of costs.
- Reporting to management of the analysis of measured results.
- Participation in the continuous improvement process (process improvement).
- Participation in company training activities for project management processes. Educational qualification: Master's degree in Technical or Management fields, preferably Engineering. Required experience level: Expert/Senior Skills and technical knowledge:
- Good basic preparation aimed at the correct management and understanding of technical and economic topics;
- Knowledge of Project Management principles and processes;
- Knowledge of project planning and progress control methodologies.
- Knowledge of order economic indices
- Knowledge of compliance issues versus Security, Trade Compliance and Health & Safety
- Previous work experience in Project Management
- PMI certification welcome (plus) Behavioral
