Grid Connection Manager | Utility Scale Solar
Join a forward-thinking renewable energy owner and operator at the forefront of the energy transition.
As Grid Connection Manager, you’ll play a critical role in securing and managing grid connections for a portfolio of renewable energy projects across Italy, Germany, and Spain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end grid connection process for utility scale solar projects (HV/MV)
- Liaise with grid operators (TSOs/DSOs) to negotiate and secure connections
- Assess grid capacity, connection feasibility, and potential technical constraints for new and existing sites
- Manage grid studies, including load flow, fault level, and stability analyses
- Support construction and commissioning teams
- Monitor and report on connection milestones, ensuring timely delivery aligned with project schedules
About You
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field
- Proven experience in grid connection management, power systems engineering, or renewable energy project development
- Strong understanding of grid codes, connection agreements, and regulatory processes.
- Skilled in interpreting single-line diagrams, protection schemes, and load flow studies
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills — comfortable interfacing with utilities, regulators, and project partners
- Self-driven, organized, and solutions-oriented with a passion for clean energy innovation
