Budget Controller

Our client, a leading organisation in the Major & Utilities sector, is looking for a Budget & Cost Controller with strong experience in digital and data-driven environments. The selected candidate will support financial planning, cost monitoring, and budget management for digital initiatives, working closely with finance, PMO, and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage budgets for digital and data-related projects
- Monitor costs, forecasts, and budget vs. actuals
- Produce regular financial reports and variance analysis
- Use ServiceNow for planning, activity tracking, and workflow support
- Extract, validate, and reconcile cost data from SAP
- Support project teams with cost allocation and financial forecasting
- Serve as liaison with Finance and PMO for periodic alignment
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–5 years’ experience in Controlling, Budgeting, or Cost Monitoring
- Strong command of budget tracking, cost control, and forecasting
- Practical experience using ServiceNow for planning and workflow management
- Good working knowledge of SAP for financial data extraction
- Background in digital or data-driven environments (preferred)
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
Language Requirements
- Italian: Mandatory
- English: Mandatory
- Spanish: Nice to have

- High attention to detail
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities
- Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
