Within the General Systems & Air Vehicle SW area, we are looking for an Aeronautical Structural Virtual Engineer for our Turin site. Main Activities:
- The resource will be inserted into the General Systems & Air Vehicle SW operational unit of the Aircraft Division and will contribute to the development, integration and software verification activities for aircraft control systems, with particular reference to the selection, application and automation of toolchains for HW/SW integration.
- Supporting the definition of modular and scalable software architectures, contributing to the application of relevant regulations and best practices, such as RTCA/DO-178C and RTCA/DO-254, in civil and military contexts.
- Analyzing system specifications and defining software implementation and verification strategies, identifying the correct subdivision into modules, libraries and components, based on platform performance, communication systems and available toolchains.
- Defining requirements, design and software implementation, developing solutions for test automation activities and the execution of Requirement Based Tests (RBT).
- Designing and implementing verification systems using simulators in a host environment and real platforms, using debug and trace tools and exploiting virtualization technologies.
- Verifying the compatibility and adequacy of the software with respect to the target platform, with particular attention to performance, timing and use of memory resources (Stack, RAM, ROM).
- Contributing to the analysis and resolution of technical problems and to the management of configuration changes.
- Collaborating with the corporate functions involved in the development, qualification and certification processes, including System Engineering, Software Quality, Software Configuration, Software Certification, Software Safety, Airworthiness and V&V.
Education:
- Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Science. Required experience level: Junior Technical
