Cab Interior Trims Design Engineer

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The candidate will be placed within the engineering department and will support to lead the planning, execution and delivery of projects related to Cab Interior components and systems (dashboards, interior trims, living area) on Heavy, Medium and Light ranges, ensuring alignment with program milestones, time, cost and quality.

The role oversees the integration of requirements-project, and cross-functional coordination along the entire development cycle, from concept to industrialization.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Keep project planning updated according to project status of different interior teams, proposing proper actions to enable project milestone achievement according project needs.
- Drafting reports and analyses to support engineering decisions and risk management.
- Cost status monitoring
- Interior Trim perceived quality monitoring
- Internal documentation management to support and lead supplier status (from RFQ to SOP).
- Documentation of acquired knowledge in design standards
- All documentation and written correspondence in English

REQUIREMENTS

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Good knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Office tools
- Basic knowledge of project planning
- Basic knowledge of component processes is a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Aptitude for teamwork and collaboration.
- Basic knowledge Model Based System Engineering
- Knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken
- Master's Degree in Management Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics or similar studies
