OMRON is looking to hire a person for the role of Robotics Field Application Engineer. It's preferable that the person lives in Umbria Region. The candidate will follow these area: Toscana, Marche and Umbria.

Technical Analysis and Solution Architecture

- Analyze client requirements for their robotic applications
- Propose optimal robotic solution architectures tailored to client demands
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of robotics, production line integration, and related technologies, like controllers, vision systems or safety devices

Client Support and Demonstrations

- Conduct proof-of-concept tests to showcase agreed-upon functionalities
- Provide technical support to clients and the local sales team, primarily in pre-sales, with assistance in post-sales when necessary (collaborating with Services Engineers)
- Serve as the local technical point of contact for clients and system integrators
- Update and creation of new demonstrations for pre-sales activities

Field Work and Reporting

- Work on the field directly engaging with customers
- Prepare feasibility reports on proposed applications and proof-of-concept tests

Training and Simulation

- Prepare and deliver technical training to clients
- Simulate mobile robot applications and provide corresponding reports

Qualifications

Educational and Experience Requirements

High school and diploma ITS in robotics or mechatronics

2-3 years of relevant experience in Automation and Robotics environment

Deep knowledge of robotics technologies & applications

Experience of working in multicultural environments.
