Missions
The Director of Sales is responsible for setting and achieving planned strategic objectives for sales via the development and implementation of effective rates and sales strategies.
Profile
The role develops and implements the hotel’s strategic sales action plan and budget, managing all departmental sales activities to achieve measurable commercial goals while working closely with the Revenue Manager to support an effective rate strategy. Oversees Sales & Marketing promotions and budget control, actively selling all aspects of the hotel and ensuring annual room sales budgets and commercial plans become operational documents.
Drives revenue growth by exceeding RevPAR targets, managing all sales, revenue, and reservations functions, and creating key account plans and sales campaigns across markets. Plans and executes sales trips aligned with the corporate calendar, builds strong relationships with key decision-makers and global sales offices, and contributes to the hotel’s sales and marketing policies with the General Manager.
Leads promotional initiatives, coordinates participation in major industry trade shows, conducts weekly sales meetings, manages expenses within guidelines, and adheres to all Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Security, and Confidentiality policies while attending all required training.
