Within the Service BU of Leonardo Aeronautica, specifically in the Customer Support & Services organizational unit, we are looking for a Technical Publications Specialist for our offices in Venegono Superiore and Pomigliano d’Arco. The resource will be involved in the development, management and updating activities of the technical documentation of aircraft in operation. In particular, they will be responsible for the drafting, maintenance and revision of the technical publications of competence, ensuring their conformity to applicable national and international regulations, as well as compliance with contractual requirements and expected release times. The resource will also contribute to the management of the technical documentation distribution process to Customers and will provide post-sales support through the analysis and management of reports received regarding the publications issued. The role offers the opportunity to operate in a multidisciplinary and highly collaborative context, interfacing with numerous internal and external stakeholders and representing a link between the operational needs of Customers, program requirements and technical-logistic support activities. Main Responsibilities
- Drafting and updating of Operational and Non-Operational Technical Publications, ensuring accuracy, consistency and conformity to required standards;
- Interface with company technical departments (e.g. Engineering, Quality, Integrated Logistic Support) for the collection, validation and management of source documentation necessary for the production of Technical Publications;
- Coordination of the Technical Validation process, in collaboration with all involved functions (e.g. Engineering, Flight Operations), ensuring alignment with company plans and correct management of internal and external reports relating to publications;
- Management and production of accompanying documentation for the distribution of Operational Technical Publications, both internally and to Customers, ensuring completeness, consistency and conformity to contractual requirements;
- Support for the planning and monitoring of activities, ensuring compliance with milestones and deadlines;
- Preparation of budgeting contributions to support new commercial initiatives or configurational updates of aircraft;
- Active participation in interfunctional technical meetings (ILS Management, Design Engineering, Airworthiness, Production, Operational Support, etc.) to ensure continuous alignment and an integrated vision of activities;
- Participation in the digital innovation streams of the discipline, both with a view to new services/products for customers and for the development of new applications for internal use.
Education:
Technical diploma in aeronautical or mechanical field (Aeronautical Expert / Mechanical Expert) or alternatively a three-year or master's degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. Seniority: Junior/Expert Technical
Skills:
- Knowledge of national and international regulations and standards relating to the production and management of Technical Publications (e.g. AER.
P, ASD S1000D, S Series, MIL-STD, ATA 100/2200/2300);
