Job Description

Within the Space Division, we are looking for an Industrial Engineer at the Pomezia (RM) site. The person will be responsible for identifying, designing and testing tools and equipment suitable to support the production line of Space Laser systems. The Manufacturing & Supply Chain Function is responsible for managing all production and Supply Chain activities with the aim of guaranteeing delivery performance (times, costs and quality), working in close coordination with the IPT (Integrated Project Team). The person will mainly deal with the design and creation of production lines. In particular, they will carry out the following activities:
- Participate in concurrent activities with project engineering
- Participate in reviews with the client
- Design and manage the commissioning of both mechanical and optical line equipment (TGSE with the support of thermal engineers, MGSE with the support of mechanical engineers, OGSE with the support of optical engineers) and also related to TVC set-ups
- Perform structural and thermal analysis of the equipment
- Support the carrying out of product qualification tests (TVC, vibrations...) both internal to the company and at external suppliers
- Support the integration phase on satellite
- Design packaging for the shipment of components and products
- Contribute to the start-up and validation phases of the production lines and support the training of equipment users and line setups
- Design testing equipment for assemblies, products and systems
- Issue packing/unpacking procedures, assembly procedures for set-ups and commissioning reports
- Issue technical specifications for special GSE (lifting systems, movers, ...) Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering. Required Experience Level:
- Junior: 1-3 years of experience in the role
- Expert: 3-5 years of experience in the role Behavioral
