European University Institute ICT Service Traineeships — 2027
European University Institute
· ICT Service The PDF instructs applicants to refer to the official call announcement for the applicable deadline. About This Opportunity The European University Institute is recruiting paid ICT Service trainees in Florence across Systems & Networks, Administrative Systems and Web, Digital & Learning profiles, with a 12-month full-time programme and a EUR 1,540 monthly grant. About the OpportunityThis EUI ICT Service call is an umbrella traineeship covering Systems & Networks, Administrative Systems, and Web, Digital & Learning rather than one generic IT role. Together the profiles reflect infrastructure, identity/access, helpdesk, enterprise systems, learning technology, integrations and digital services. What You Will Work On Systems & Networks work can include corporate email/account requests, digital workspaces, telephony, internal procedures, user support, digital training and project support. Administrative Systems focuses on product/system management, process mapping, configuration, testing, validation, documentation, ticket analysis and data quality. Web, Digital & Learning covers web and digital-service work, including modern frameworks, APIs and end-to-end service design. Qualifications and Technical Background Applicants need a completed first-cycle degree under the EUI rules, with profile-relevant study such as computer engineering, programming, multimedia, IT or related areas. English at B2 or above is explicit for the described technical profiles. Certifications, project support, scripting/programming and modern web or AI-assisted development experience can strengthen relevant profiles. Compensation and Working Arrangements The traineeships are full-time, Monday to Friday for eight hours per day, and normally last 12 months in Florence. The grant is EUR 1,540 per month, with eligible travel reimbursement and EUI facilities/meal benefits. Application Essentials The PDF directs candidates to the EUI online process and asks them to consult the call announcement for profile-specific timing. The call instructs applicants to consult the current EUI announcement for the applicable deadline and online application route. Who This Opportunity Is Best Suited For Applicant Fit Analysis This call may suit recent IT graduates who can identify a clear fit: infrastructure/user-services for Systems & Networks, business systems/data-quality work for Administrative Systems, or web/digital services for Web, Digital & Learning. Potential Challenges / Who May Find It Less Suitable Because this is an umbrella call, daily work and preferred skills differ substantially between profiles. Candidates should not assume software-development experience alone fits all three. The 12-month Florence commitment is also significant. Overall Opportunity Assessment The call offers broad institutional IT exposure across infrastructure, enterprise systems and digital services with a defined grant. The key practical issue is confirming the live profile-specific application timing. systems and networks administrative systems web services digital learning IT support Florence Level Entry Time Commitment Full-time Employment Type Traineeship Contract Duration 12 months Hours per Week 40 Organization Type University Responsibilities
