Within the Aircraft BU, the Supplier is responsible for verifying and validating the SAP planning of external purchase parts by confirming the proposed RDAs or by issuing the related CACs.
It is also responsible for the expediting phase towards the supplier, in order to ensure the availability of parts according to the required dates of the lines.
It provides for formal escalation to the competent company bodies where there are situations of serious delay or poor performance by the supplier.
The resource will also be involved in the following activities:
- Ensures coverage of purchasing needs, in compliance with the objectives of optimizing time, costs and quality, by issuing RAs/CaCs in line with the plan and carries out expediting activities towards the Purchasing Department for order issuance and/or directly towards suppliers for matters within its competence
- Produces detailed visibility and summary performance indicators. Classifies shortages by priority and criticality and promotes actions at all levels, actively contributing to all problems that impact supplies by interfacing with the AAEM Directorates/Functions responsible for resolving them.
- Controls warehouse values and contributes, with other Directorates/Functions, to regulating the flow of incoming goods based on withdrawals and in line with the budget.
- Promotes weekly progress meetings with other involved company bodies for all parts classified as critical for assemblies and manufacturing.
- Ensures the availability of managed parts until orders are deposited in the warehouse.
- Participates in LPS activities. Educational Qualification: STEM degree (preferably Management/Aeronautical Engineering) Required Experience Level: Expert Technical
