We are looking for an open minded, highly motivated person to reinforce our Technology Infrastructure team with a permanent contract.

In this role you will be responsible for managing and evolving our SCM and CI/CD infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration, security, and quality across our development lifecycle. You will be part of a dynamic and growing Expert.ai team, working closely with development teams and external vendors to deliver robust DevOps solutions. You will manage security scanning tools, artifact repositories, and CI/CD pipelines that enable our teams to deliver innovative AI-driven solutions with confidence.

The HeadQuarters are based in Modena; work from home flexibility can be evaluated according to the job position and to the candidate experience.

Main Responsibilities:

- Ownership of SCM+CI/CD Suite

- Coordinate and manage migration projects while maintaining relationships with external vendors

- Acquire expertise from vendors to ensure autonomous post-migration management

- Execute migration plans according to defined best practices

- Act as interface with development teams to gather and implement CI/CD requirements

- Validate pipelines, define quality gates, and test integrations

- Implement compliance controls (SOC2/GDPR)

- Manage cut-over and rollback procedures

- Document processes for internal team and ensure knowledge transfer

Security & Quality Assurance:

- Configure and manage SAST tools (SonarQube, JFrog Xray)

- Implement security scanning in CI/CD pipelines

- Define and monitor quality gates and security policies

- Analyze vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation efforts

- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices

Artifact & Dependency Management:

- Manage repository managers (Nexus, JFrog Artifactory)

- Configure repository policies and access controls

- Optimize artifact storage and retention policies

- Implement dependency scanning and license compliance

- Ensure efficient artifact lifecycle management

Technical Requirements:

- Deep knowledge of GitLab and GitLab pipelines

- Scripting languages: Bash and Python

- Strong understanding of DevOps paradigm and Continuous Delivery

- Experience with Containers and Kubernetes

- SAST Tools: SonarQube, JFrog Xray

- Repository Managers: Nexus, JFrog Artifactory

- Familiarity with security best practices and vulnerability management

- Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR)

Required Profile:

Technical:

- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps roles

- Deep knowledge of GitLab CI/CD

- Hands‑on experience with SAST tools and repository managers

- Familiarity with migration tools and migration strategies

- Understanding of security by design principles

- Experience with infrastructure as code concepts

Soft Skills:

- Strong learning and adaptation capabilities

- Project coordination and stakeholder management abilities

- Effective communication with technical teams and external vendors

- Ability to work autonomously and strong problem‑solving skills
