Job Description

Within the Space Division, we are looking for a Software Engineer (PEL) for our office in Campi Bisenzio (FI), preferably, and/or Nerviano (MI). The person will be responsible for coordinating activities for the development of embedded software in the space field for electro-optical payloads and will deal with:
* Coordinating software development activities throughout the product life cycle, according to standards for safety-critical embedded SW (DO178, ECSS, ...);
* Conducting co-engineering sessions with the instrument systems engineering group for consolidating system requirements and software specifications;
* Monitoring the progress of activities and being the interface with the program for scheduling aspects;
* Technical interface with the customer;
* Coordinating and monitoring activities assigned to subcontractors;
* Developing embedded software in an RTOS environment starting from requirements.

Education:

* Master's degree in a STEM field Required experience level:
* Expert: 3-5 years of experience in the role Technical skills and knowledge:
* Knowledge of the software development process according to standards for safety-critical embedded SW (DO178, ECSS, ...);
* Ability to manage and draft project documentation required in the development process;
* Knowledge of real-time systems;
* Knowledge of MISRA rules for C;
* Experience in requirements management and project documentation. Behavioral
