This position in the AWS Developer Experience team presents a unique and rare opportunity to get on the ground floor and help shape the product experience of a new service for developers. A successful candidate will bring technical and software expertise, desire to have an industry‑wide impact, and ability to work within a fast‑moving team to rapidly deliver services that have a broad business impact.

Key Job Responsibilities

- Work closely with UX designers and product managers to develop friendly UI experiences.

- Work closely with other engineers to architect and develop the best technical design.

- Develop/maintain operational rigor for the frontend of a new AWS service.

- Own and deliver key features within a new interactive developer focused experience.

- Collaborate with other AWS SDEs for features that cut across AWS.

- Engage with customers and other AWS partners.

- Optimize performance, accessibility, and maintainability of the platform's front‑end components.

Basic Qualifications

2+ years of agile software development methodology experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with common front‑end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
