About the role

You’ll join a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and product managers.

Your mission: ensure that every product we build meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and usability.

You’ll play a key role in shaping the QA process, collaborating directly with both the internal team and clients.

Key responsibilities

- Design, document, and execute test plans and test cases (manual and automated).
- Execute end-to-end, regression, integration, usability, and compatibility tests.
- Identify, track, and verify bugs and regressions.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define and refine acceptance criteria, anticipate edge cases.
- Participate in story refinement sessions, defining clear, testable acceptance criteria and embedding QA early in the development process.
- Write and maintain BDD-style scenarios using Gherkin (Given/When/Then) to guide both manual and automated testing.
- Contribute to release validation and ensure smooth handovers
- Write and maintain test documentation and reports
- Participate in client interactions, clarifying requirements and reporting quality insights
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes and tools

About you

- 2–4 years of experience in functional testing of web applications
- Understanding of software development and QA principles
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g. Postman, Insomnia)
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git)
- Experience with BDD frameworks and Gherkin syntax, able to translate user stories into actionable test scenarios.
- Proactive in contributing to story refinement, ensuring quality and testability are considered from the beginning.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Strong team collaboration mindset and proactive attitude
- Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken

Nice to have

- Experience with automated testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Detox)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release workflows
- Experience with performance testing (Locust, JMeter)
- Basic understanding of DevOps practices and cloud platforms
- Curiosity about AI-assisted testing or usability testing
