Vernay Italia is looking for a Quality Engineer. This role is responsible for promoting and ensuring quality principles, techniques and tools following the guidelines of the Quality Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Use the Statistical Process Control;
- Classification of defects (Prepare data collection for Non-conforming parts, Quality Catalogue - Quality standards);
- Inspection procedure implementation and analysis;
- Implement trend analysis in order to develop Corrective and Preventative actions;
- Communicate with Customers regarding quality in order to meet their requirements;
- Validate and supervise corrective actions implemented;
- Supervise communication with suppliers regarding specification/COS/quality;
- Work with the supply chain to solve in the shortest possible time conflicts between quality and supply;
- Perform quality systems audit to ensure the respect of procedures;
- Encourage quality system improvement;
- Cooperation with process engineer driving internal issue solution.
- Maintain quality docs updated basing on the customer specifications and quality standard (IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 17025).
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
- Engineering Master’s Degree;
- 2 year of experience in QC department in a manufacturing company;
- Knowledge of ISO9001 is considered as a plus;
- Languages: English is a must;
- Listening & communication, team working approach
