OUR PURPOSE AT PLANCRAFT
Building the backbone of European trades together with AI and voice-first software.
We’re not just building software – we’re on a mission to create space for contractors & tradespeople by equipping them with AI solutions that work the way they do: fast, practical, and voice-first. With Tier 1 Investors from Europe and the US like Headline and Creandum as well as 20,000 tradespeople as our customer base, we’re scaling across Europe to turn scattered tradespeople into thriving communities. We believe in zero admin, zero personality, and we build every feature with the people in mind who wear the boots, not the suits. We’re #stoked to shape the future #together as a team and #humble in our mission to support the builders of tomorrow.
YOUR MISSION AT PLANCRAFT
As our first-ever Country Lead Italy (f / m / d) you will build something that has never existed before: Plancraft’s Italian business from the ground up. While a local BDM has already created first traction and early market learnings, the real opportunity lies in transforming this foundation into a truly scalable and locally rooted operation. You will shape the market narrative, build the first local team, define how we win in Italy and act as a founder of our local business. This is a historic role for Plancraft: you carry the mandate to create momentum where there is no proven playbook yet, to translate real market insight into a scalable growth engine, and to embed Plancraft into the fabric of Italy’s trades ecosystem for years to come.
Your Responsibilities

Lead the market entry and scale‑up: You take full ownership of Italy’s commercial trajectory, setting strategy, defining priorities and driving execution across acquisition, onboarding, quality, retention and revenue motion. You build the engine that transforms early learnings into repeatable growth and ensure Italy reaches scale fast with a strong trusted market position.
Shape the local playbook and GTM motion: You translate customer insights into messaging, segmentation, pricing hypotheses and channel bets. Together with HQ you adapt our GTM playbook to Italian realities while maintaining high brand and quality standards, ensuring Plancraft feels truly local without becoming a silo.
Build the first local GTM team: You recruit, onboard and develop the first hires in Sales, CS and Marketing, shaping a high‑ownership low‑ego execution‑driven culture. You establish the operating rhythm, create clarity in ambiguity and ensure every role contributes directly to customer value and growth.
Drive local trust and market credibility: You build the foundations for long‑term adoption – customer advocacy, local partnerships, creators, media presence and success stories that generate trust at scale. You make Plancraft visible, respected and recommended within the ecosystem.
Operate hands‑on where needed: You step into gaps when they appear, running demos, onboarding customers, supporting local copy or pushing early partnerships. You embrace the 01‑builder mode, ensuring nothing slows down progress and that the business grows with operational excellence from day one.
Prepare for local incorporation and future P&L ownership: You support all steps toward establishing a future Italian entity, including early cost management and local operations. Over time you transition into managed P&L responsibility with budget ownership, margin focus and a growing team.

YOUR PROFILE
Must‑Haves

Entrepreneurial builder mindset with experience creating structure, process and direction in environments where foundations are still being built and clarity must be created from scratch.
Solid B2B SaaS GTM understanding – ideally across PLG or small‑ACV models – and the ability to turn insights from acquisition, conversion and retention into a scalable motion.
Hands‑on commercial execution strength combining strategic thinking with the willingness to step directly into sales or operational tasks to maintain momentum and healthy unit economics.
Analytical and commercially strong, capable of steering revenue through data‑driven decisions on pricing, segmentation, funnel performance and growth priorities.
Profound leadership experience with strong operational competence, including the ability to hire, coach and develop teams while setting a clear performance and cultural bar.
High resilience and focus, able to maintain speed and direction in dynamic fast‑evolving environments.
Cross‑functional fluency to collaborate smoothly with HQ teams across Product, RevOps, Marketing and Leadership.
Confident use of AI as a leverage tool to increase efficiency, output and insight.
Based in or near Milan with openness to work weekly from our soon‑to‑open local Milan coworking hub.
Italian language proficiency at C1 / C2 level.

Nice‑to‑Haves

Existing network within the Italian SMB or trades ecosystem to accelerate early traction and partnership building.
Familiarity with the construction or trades landscape to deepen user empathy and adoption understanding.
Experience launching or scaling a country operation, including exposure to P&L ownership or market entry playbooks.
Background in setting up or supporting local entity incorporation and related operational processes.
Know‑how in localized marketing or brand activation to strengthen messaging, trust and local awareness.
Multi‑market or international experience enabling balanced decision‑making between local autonomy and HQ alignment.
