About the Position
We are looking for a Key Suppliers Specialist to join the Electronics Supply Chain Management team, reporting directly to the Key Suppliers Management Manager. This position is based at our office in Corbetta (MI), Italy. As the Key Suppliers Specialist at Marelli, you will be responsible for ensuring the supply meets the production plan.
Your Responsibilities
Check the ERP system for inventory, production needs, orders, and deliveries of components versus suppliers and customers.
Prepare management reporting data for shortage/allocation of components.
Coordinate with Logistics Planners across Marelli production sites to split the delivery plan among locations to cover supply shortages.
Work with the purchasing department to manage escalations with suppliers.
Hold periodic meetings with suppliers to track deliveries and resolve any supply shortage gaps.
Monitor exceptional transportation, if necessary.
What Qualifications You Will Bring
Degree in Economics, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
Experience with Microsoft Excel.
Fluent in English.
Previous experience in Logistics or Supply Chain departments.
