Within the Avionics Engineering area, we are looking for a resource to join our team in Nerviano (MI) to cover the role of avionics systems engineer in relation to the computers developed by the Aircraft Management Computer organizational unit, mainly dedicated to Vehicle Management and Mission Management of fixed and rotary wing platforms. The person will mainly deal with the following activities:
- Relationship with the client for technical requirements negotiation in collaboration with the Business Area
- Definition of system requirements and management of their traceability
- System architecture design
- Deployment and coordination of development activities assigned to technologies (hardware, software, mechanics)
- HW/HW, HW/SW and SW/SW integration
- Preparation of useful tests for system integration, validation and verification activities
- Support for environmental and EMC qualification activities
- Preparation of specifications and supplier management for purchased items (e.g. test benches)
- Customer support for problems arising from platform integration
- Participation in the definition of technical proposals for new product offers.

Education:
Diploma in scientific technologies. Seniority: Senior. Technical skills and knowledge:
- Skills in embedded systems
- Knowledge of main communication buses (avionics, automotive, commercial)
- Analog circuit electronic competence
- Knowledge of tools commonly used in an electronics laboratory
- Knowledge of programming languages (C, Python, ADA) and operating systems, preferably real-time (RTOS)
- Experience in HW/SW design and knowledge of related development processes;
- Familiarity with avionics architectures
- Good knowledge of the Office package. Represent a plus: knowledge of DO254/178C processes, international experience deriving from previous work experiences, experience in systems engineering, willingness to work on classified programs. Behavioral
