- Within the Investment Planning and Performance Monitoring team, we are looking for a Investment Planning and Performance monitoring specialist who will play a key role in steering investment planning processes across the Group, enhancing performance monitoring capabilities and supporting strategic decision-making through insightful analysis of investment and IFRS results.
Key responsibilities
of the role will include:
- Coordinate annual and multi-year investment planning processes across Group insurance entities
- Liaise with Group Finance and local Investment and Finance departments to ensure alignment of planning assumptions and targets
- Monitor investment performance vs official benchmark assessing their contribution to IFRS investment results
- Monitor investment performance and Asset-Liability dynamics, assessing their contribution to IFRS investment results
- Analyze key business and financial drivers and identify performance trends and deviations
- Monitor investment KPIs
- Prepare regular management reporting on investment performance
- Deliver meaningful business insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Develop and enhance planning and performance monitoring tools
- Drive process optimization initiatives and improve data quality and efficiency
- Ensure alignment with Group Finance and support governance processes
- Coordinate investment deep-dive reviews with local entities
- Coordinate annual and multi-year investment planning processes across Group insurance entities
- Monitor performance of investments and evaluate their contribution to IFRS investment result
- Ensure alignment with Group Finance and support governance processes Required qualifications include:
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics or quantitative discipline
- At least 5 years of working experience in asset owners (insurance is a plus), asset managers or investment advisors with relevant experience in performance management, investment planning and reporting activities
- Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting principles with particular focus on investment income and financial instruments
- Good understanding of capital markets and financial instruments
- Strong analytical abilities and reporting skills, with attention to detail
- Experience with data visualization
- Strong presentation skills (PowerPoint)
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced use of Excel
- Power BI, Tableau or similar visualization tools
- SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Bloomberg, FactSet or similar market data platforms
- Knowledge of Python or other analytical programming languages is considered a plus
- Fluency in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Being CFA and/or CAIA Charterholder and Insurance sector experience will be nice to have Soft
