Role Summary
- As a Product Manager in the HCL UnO portfolio, you will own a strategic product domain within HCL’s execution and orchestration platform strategy. Your mission is to turn complex enterprise automation, orchestration, and AI capabilities into products that customers love, adopt, and rely on for mission-critical operations.
- You will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and roadmap of a key area of the portfolio — which may include core orchestration, intelligent processes, agentic AI, operational governance, or platform evolution — depending on your strengths and background.
- This is a high-impact role at the center of HCLSoftware’s strategy to build the next-generation governed execution fabric for the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Ownership: Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a strategic product domain within the UnO portfolio, aligned with the broader platform strategy.
- Customer & Market Leadership: Deeply understand customer needs, enterprise use cases, and market dynamics; translate them into differentiated product capabilities and clear priorities.
- Problem-to-Product Translation: Turn complex business and technical problems into simple, elegant product experiences that deliver measurable customer value.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with engineering, UX, architecture, sales, marketing, and partners to drive execution from concept to successful delivery and adoption.
- Outcome-Driven Roadmapping: Define and prioritize initiatives based on business impact, customer value, and strategic alignment — not just feature delivery.
- End-to-End Ownership: Own the full lifecycle of your product area: discovery, definition, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Go-To-Market Contribution: Partner with product marketing and sales enablement to shape positioning, narratives, demos, and customer-facing materials for your product area.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the product authority for your domain with internal leadership, field teams, partners, and strategic customers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a highly accountable product manager who understand the shift from
workflow automation to agentic systems, and can explain complex concepts simply—to execs,
sellers, and customers.
You may come from a background in:
- Product Management (platforms, enterprise software, infrastructure, automation, or data)
- Solutions Architecture or Technical Product Specialist
- Engineering with strong product ownership experience
You are:
- Strategic but deeply execution-oriented
- Comfortable owning ambiguous problem spaces
- Able to operate at both executive and technical levels
- Passionate about building platforms, not just features
Mandate Skills
- You have a strong software product mindset and take full ownership of outcomes, not just requirements.
- You are comfortable working on complex automation domains such as orchestration engines, workflow platforms, integration platforms, RPA or AI-enabled systems.
- You can connect customer value, business strategy, and technical architecture into coherent product decisions.
- You are data-informed and outcome-driven, using evidence, customer feedback, and impact metrics to drive priorities.
- You are a strong collaborator and influencer, able to lead cross-functional initiatives without formal authority.
- You thrive in fast-evolving, multi-product, enterprise environments where clarity and focus create competitive advantage.
Why This Role Matters
This role directly shapes how HCLSoftware helps enterprises run, govern, and evolve their most
critical processes — from classic workloads to AI-driven automation. https://www.hcl-

What Makes This Role Unique
- You will work on a strategic, multi-year platform transformation, not a point product.
- You will help define how orchestration, automation, and AI come together under governance.
- You will have real ownership, real scope, and real impact.
