French International host/ess

YOUR LIFE ONBOARD:

As a French International Host/ Hostess, you will be act as reference point for French speakers removing language barriers to make sure Guests enjoy their cruise.

DEMONSTRATE YOUR PASSION:  

We welcome everyone in a space where you can reach your full potential by:               
Taking care of the daily cruise program to ensure the correct translation of written material in the relevant language such as: menus, flyers, and organizes informative speeches (i.e., embarkation travel talks, end of cruise speech).
Acting as point of reference for French speaking guests doing public relations (i.e., public events, parties, embarkation, disembarkation), daily hospitality desks and escorting them whenever possible on tours to remove language barriers, getting constant feedback on guest satisfaction and needs.
Providing translation services for medical emergencies, illnesses, or medical disembarkation of the Guest, accompanying them, when necessary, to the onboard infirmary or shore side hospitals to offer a dedicated service.
Supporting the various revenue services through constant communication and promotion to maximize revenue and Guest satisfaction.
Making major voice announcements for Guests, including safety announcements during drills or real situations (live or pre-recorded format).
Reporting or taking care of Guest complaints (use of SA&PI system is required) informing the relevant heads of department and supervisors in charge with the aim to offer a prompt solution.

WHAT MAKES YOU UNIQUE:  

The Onboard Hospitality department is looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join their team The requirements for this job are: 
 Secondary school in Tourism or Human Science
At least 6 months experience in tourism (i.e., reception, accompanying Guests)
English & French at least at C1 level
Being at ease with public speaking
Being enthusiastic, a good communicator and problem-solving oriented
Sales skills are a plus
