As a Kitchen Professional, you will contribute to delivering high-quality cuisine with precision, creativity, and consistency—helping uphold the resort’s reputation for excellence. Role PurposeThe purpose of this role is to support the preparation, cooking, and presentation of exquisite dishes that meet the resort’s luxury standards. You will work with a skilled culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and impeccable food quality across all outlets. Expectations of the PositionA passion for food, flavour, and culinary excellenceA polished and professional approach suited to a 5-star environmentAbility to remain calm, organized, and efficient in a dynamic kitchenStrong teamwork and communication with all culinary and service teamsCommitment to maintaining hygiene, safety, and brand standards Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare high-quality dishes according to recipes and standardsSet up workstations and ensure all mise-en-place is readyMaintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety across kitchen areasCollaborate with chefs and colleagues to ensure timely serviceMonitor food quality, freshness, and portion controlSupport buffet setups, la carte service, and banquet operationsFollow all safety, sanitation, and HACCP regulations Tasks &, DutiesCommis ChefAssist in food preparation across hot and cold sectionsFollow instructions from Chef de Partie and Sous ChefMaintain workstation cleanliness and stock rotationChef de PartieRun an assigned section (hot kitchen, cold, pastry, etc.)Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentationTrain and support junior team membersMonitor stock, minimize waste, and maintain consistencySous ChefAssist the Head Chef with daily supervision and kitchen operationsOversee food quality, staff coordination, and service flowEnsure adherence to culinary standards and HACCP proceduresLead and inspire the team during busy service periodsDishwasher / Kitchen StewardWash and store dishes, utensils, equipmentSupport general kitchen cleaning and waste disposalEnsure high levels of hygiene and sanitation at all times
