Job Title: Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager

Department: Finance

Reporting to: Group CFO

Location: Castelfidardo (AN)

Role Mission

The Group FP&A Manager is responsible for ensuring financial planning, economic and financial performance control, and the delivery of strategic analyses to the Group’s top management. The role supports the CFO and CEO by providing data-driven insights, forecasting models, and scenario analyses aimed at optimizing profitability and enabling sustainable business growth.

Main Responsibilities

1. Planning and Forecasting

- Coordinate the annual budget process, quarterly/monthly forecasts, and multi-year planning (Business Plan) at Group level.
- Ensure data consistency across legal entities and business units.
- Develop and maintain consolidated financial models for margin, cash flow, and profitability analysis.

2. Performance Analysis

- Monitor financial and economic performance against budget and forecast.
- Identify and explain significant variances, recommending corrective actions.
- Analyze operational and financial KPIs (e.g., EBITDA, working capital, capex, cash conversion).
- Prepare monthly reports and performance dashboards for the CFO, CEO, and Board.

3. Strategic Decision Support

- Provide financial analysis to support M&A projects, investments, pricing strategies, and industrial footprint decisions.
- Collaborate with the M&A & Transformation function to evaluate the financial impact of operational improvement initiatives.

4. Consolidation and Governance

- Coordinate FP&A and finance contacts across subsidiaries to ensure common standards for reporting and analysis.
- Contribute to the definition of Group financial planning policies and procedures.
- Support the Group Accounting function during the monthly closing process to ensure consistency between accounting figures and management reporting.

Role Requirements

Education

- Degree in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering, or related fields.
- Master’s in Finance or MBA (preferred).

Experience

- 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, or Corporate Finance roles within multinational companies or complex industrial groups.
- Previous experience in Group management consolidation and/or M&A integration.
- Experience in B2B manufacturing environments is a plus.

Technical Skills

- Excellent knowledge of Excel, Power BI, or data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and reporting/consolidation tools (e.g., Hyperion, Tagetik, Anaplan).
- Strong understanding of IFRS accounting principles and management consolidation.

- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to synthesize information and deliver clear financial storytelling to top management.
- Cross-functional leadership and the ability to coordinate international teams.
- Change-oriented mindset and strong results orientation.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Forecast accuracy and timeliness.
- Quality of management reporting.
- Profitability improvement (EBITDA margin, cash conversion).
- Effectiveness of analytical support for strategic projects.
