Recruitment Process

- Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you

- Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities

- Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem‑solving scenario, etc.

Job description

As a Data Engineer, you will contribute to innovative projects and collaborate with talented teams. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely (from Italy) while working in a stimulating and supportive setting.

Your missions

- Design, develop and optimize Data Engineering solutions on the Azure platform (Databricks, Synapse, DevOps, Python, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Parquet)

- Manage and integrate relational and non‑relational (NoSQL) databases

- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data collection, transformation, and loading

- Collaborate with Analytics teams for the implementation of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions

- Ensure the quality, security, and scalability of implemented solutions

- Monitor and optimize data flow performance

- Support the team in troubleshooting and defining best practices

- Document developed solutions and processes

Your profile

- At least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer

- Fluent Italian language skills; good English ia a nice to have

- Advanced experience with Azure technologies: Databricks, Synapse, DevOps, Python, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Parquet

- In‑depth knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases

- Experience with ETL tools and Data Warehouse/Analytics

- Ability to work independently and in a team, problem‑solving skills, results‑oriented, flexibility, and adaptability
