The Opportunity

We’re expanding our Milan team and looking for an experienced Ocean Import/Export Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced international environment. This role is ideal for a logistics professional who takes ownership, communicates with precision, and ensures every shipment moves flawlessly from origin to destination.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

- Coordinate ocean freight shipments with suppliers, customers, carriers, and trucking partners.
- Prepare, review, and validate all required import/export documentation.
- Manage rate negotiations, quotations, and bookings to meet customer expectations and internal performance goals.
- Track and monitor shipments, resolving issues quickly while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Partner with internal teams and global service centers to ensure efficient, seamless operations.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience: Minimum 3 years in ocean, air, or international logistics operations.
- Mindset: Detail-driven, proactive, solutions-oriented, and accountable.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CargoWise is a strong plus.
- Languages: Fluency in English REQUIRED; additional European languages are an advantage.
