Lega Serie A organizes and oversees Italy's top professional football competitions, including Serie A Enilive, the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa and the Italian Supercup (EA SPORTS FC Supercup). In addition, the League manages the country's most important youth football competitions. Since its inception, the League has been a cornerstone of Italian culture and sport, thrilling millions of fans worldwide.

Beyond the organization of competitions, Lega Serie A serves as a central platform for its member Clubs, driving strategic initiatives across sporting, commercial and social responsibility areas, with the ambition of strengthening the global profile and long-term value of Italian football.

Role Description:

We are looking for an Associate, Strategic Projects & Planning to support the development, coordination, and implementation of key cross-functional strategic initiatives for our Association. The candidate will work closely both with senior leadership as well our CEO to translate strategic goals into actionable plans, support execution, and monitor progress - helping the Association grow sustainably and efficiently in the short, medium, and long term.

Main Responsibilities:

· Project Management: help structure and track multiple initiatives at once, maintaining timelines, deliverables and resource coordination.

· Support strategic project execution: assist in planning and coordinating strategic initiatives that span across the organization, collaborating with key multiple departments

· Stakeholder alignment: contribute to preparing clear and insightful reporting for top executives and ownership, ensuring alignment on progress and priorities

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: work on projects that involve different departments, acting as a connector and enabler across the organization

· Research & Analysis: support strategic planning efforts through research, benchmarking, and preparation of high-quality materials (presentations, business cases, reports)

· Operational follow-up: ensure execution of tasks and activities aligned with strategic priorities through proactive follow-up and coordination with involved teams

Requirements:

· 3–5 years of experience in top-tier consulting or relevant strategic roles preferably in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or finance

· Strong project management skills, with proven experience managing complex and multi-stream projects simultaneously

· Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize information and present it clearly to various audiences

· Fluent in both Italian and English - spoken and written

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships not only across departments but also with external business partners and stakeholders

· Basic knowledge of football and the sports industry; experience in or exposure to a sports organization is considered a strong plus

· Based in Milan or available to relocate immediately – on-site presence is required

· Flexibility and adaptability to work outside of traditional business hours, in line with the demands of the role

· Legal permission to work in Italy without the need for visa sponsorship
