Role Description

This is a part-time adjunct MechE Instructor position at the Catholic Institute of Technology. The role involves teaching during the period from January 12 to March 20, 2026. Each week, the instructor will be responsible for 3 hours of teaching (including 1 hour of lecture and 2 hours of design project instruction/supervision), in addition to preparation outside of class.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering Design

Experience in teaching college-level courses

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students

Ph.D. in Mechanical, Engineering or related field (preferred)

Note: This position is in-person on our campus in Castel Gandolfo. On campus-housing is available for qualified visiting faculty members located outside of the Castel Gandolfo area.

Compensation

Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and will be competitive within academia.
