Content Evaluation Specialist

Adecco is looking for a Content Evaluation Specialist / Linguist with excellent proficiency in Italian and English to support linguistic Quality Assurance, translation, editing, and project management activities on editorial content and technical documentation, for an important national client.
🎯 Main Responsibilities
• Perform linguistic QA and content review using MQM (Multidimensional Quality Metrics).
• Manage translation, editing, proofreading, and content quality evaluation tasks.
• Coordinate projects with localization specialists, applied scientists, and project/program managers.
• Monitor external vendors’ performance and the quality of their deliverables.
• Support initiatives and content for the Books area, including editorial materials.
• Participate in calls and alignment meetings with flexible availability.
📚 Ideal Profile
Essential Requirements
1. Native‑level fluency in Italian and English (preferably US English).
2. Experience with MQM review and technical documentation management.
3. Background in the literary field: translation, editing, writing, or intensive reading.
4. Ability to collaborate effectively with international, multidisciplinary teams.
Top Skills (in order of importance)
1. Native/near‑native proficiency in Italian and English.
2. Knowledge and hands‑on experience with the MQM framework.
3. Proven experience in the editorial/literary sector.
📍 Location: Remote but is important that you live in Italy
📅 Contract duration: initial 3‑month contract (extendable up to 6 months)
🕒 Workload: 20 hours per week – 80 hours per month
⏰ Preferred working hours: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
