Project Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Structural Engineer to join our team at Fives Intralogistics SPA. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for supporting all activities concerning frames and metallic structures supporting machines, workstations, and related accesses.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Senior Project Structural Engineer to provide specialist assistance in all phases of project development;
- Preliminary sizing with the definition of static schemes of structures, respecting geometric constraints imposed by plant layout and client's specifications;
- Calculation of foundation loads;
- Cost estimate;
- Preparation of technical specifications accompanying requests for proposals;
- Validation and alignment of received offers;
- Supervision of supplier activities aimed at ensuring quality of product.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architecture;
- Familiarity with FEM modeling; knowledge of MidasGen software is a plus;
- Proficiency in Autocad 2D and 3D;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications;
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English;
- At least three years of experience as a structural engineer;
- Ability to listen and work in a team, along with a desire to deepen knowledge.
