Your Role
As a Cloud Security Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the security of our cloud architecture and operating model, ensuring they meet the highest security standards.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and enforcing secure development and cloud principles
  • Enabling security automation to reduce vulnerabilities and human errors
  • Automating audit evidence collection throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Maintaining strong engagement with teams to ensure our cloud architecture meets top security standards
  • Creating a state-of-the-art secure cloud architecture and strategy, supported by a robust and flexible infrastructure
  • Running post-mortem incident analysis
  • Reviewing security principles compliance of deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and management processes
  • Collaborating with the software architect to ensure security aspects are considered in the software architecture
  • Regularly evaluating the best cloud applications, hardware, and practices available in the security domain
  • Providing training and guidance to the organization, helping develop a security culture
  • Assisting the product owner in refining security requirements to align with customer strategy and sales points


Your Skills and Experience
As a seasoned security professional, you'll bring expertise in threat modeling, authentication and authorization standards, encryption, certificate and secrets management, and cloud security, particularly in AWS or Azure. You'll also have a strong understanding of networking, secure microservices architectures, and agile development methodologies.
Key qualifications include:

  • SANS/SEC-540: Cloud Security and DevSecOps Automation
  • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or equivalent
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
  • Multi-year experience in threat modeling and cloud security
  • Proven track record as an architect and consultant, with experience working with diverse teams
