Logistics Intern to support the regional team to drive end-to-end cost & performance improvements as well as routines settings & preparation for Regional Logistics KPI Review, EMEA communication meetings, and Projects...


Responsibilities



  • Perform ad hoc data analysis to identify actionable insights to improve service and cost
  • Routine settings and preparation (comprehending ppt decks)
  • Support Project Managers for strategic projects
  • Make sure every approved New Product Development captures the right logistics opportunities - as per functional guidelines
  • Solve day-to-day operational issues impacting the ability to distribute effectively
  • Contribute to primary freight monthly analysis to support SF/ODE meetings
  • Support cross-functional activities to secure transportation capacity during peak periods
  • Daily support on keeping the delivery date always updated in SAP
  • Support the data collection and root cause analysis for Weekly and Monthly Operational Reviews
  • Support the continuous improvement plans to improve service KPIs
  • Support the primary freight monthly analysis

Requirements



  • Bachelor University degree in Logistics, Economics or Industrial Management Engineering, Engineering Management
  • No experience / short experience in logistics or supply chain (6 months)
  • Microsoft office applications & SAP experience
  • Proactivity and strong courage
  • Eager to learn and to work in a regional Team
  • Excellent analytical skills with financial acumen
  • Ability to powerfully portray data and leverage to drive continuous improvement
  • Ability to deal with complexity and manage ambiguity
  • Fluent in speaking, writing, and reading English
  • Good communication and influencing skills, Ability to building strong relationship with cross-functional partners.
